General Rental Information

The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license.
Driving license printed with non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an International driving license.
The International drivers license is only valid for rental of a car if accompanied by the original country license.
Please show a valid ID card or passport at time of pick up.
Cancellation
A booking can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the rental begins at no cost. Cancellations can be made online or in writing and must be addressed to:

In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.

Age Restrictions

Minimum age in Cyprus is 21 and the driver has to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 3 years.
Maximum age in Cyprus is 69.
A Surcharge of EUR 12.00 per day applies for drivers between 21 and 24 years of age, and between 70 and 75 years age.

Conditions of Payment

We accept all credit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies - such as American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa and Diners Club.
We do not accept any prepaid cards or debit cards (VISA Electron).
Generally
An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.

Deposit

A deposit amount of EUR 1000.00 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle.
This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period.
Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage section.

General Insurance Conditions

Third Party Insurance (TI)
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of EUR 100,000.- for material damages. The maximum cover for personal injuries is unlimited.
Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular,
if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
Loss Damage Waiver removes the driver’s responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage or theft.
Customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
EUR 1000,- (MCMN, MDMN, MDMR, MDAR, ECMR, EDMR, EDAR, CDMR, CLMR, IDMR, IDAR)                                          
Top Cover LDW
If LDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Top Cover LDW to reduce by 65% the Non-Waiverable Responsibility.
If Top Cover FDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts depending on car group: 350 EUR,
Tire and Glass Coverage (TG)
Tire and Glass Coverage provides cover against the consequences of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and back window.
If TG is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and back window.
If TG is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: EUR 0.-.

Delivery & Collection

During Opening Hours
Delivery/Collection Service is on request. Please contact the local rental station.
Delivery/Collection Service to/from hotels within 10 km from the local office is free of charge. All others EUR 20.00 each way, please contact Get Your Car Cyprus reservations department
for information.

Out of Hours

A surcharge of EUR 20.00 applies for all bookings/rentals out of hours. At the airports between the hours 21.00 – 07.30 a surcharge of EUR 20.00 is charged.

One-Way Rentals

National
For One-Way-Rentals in Cyprus a charge of EUR 25.00 applies.

Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions

Cross Border Rentals are not allowed.
Cross Border Rentals to Northern Cyprus are not allowed. Off road use is not insured by any of the insurances offered.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all insurances lose their validity.

Extras

Baby seat (0-18kg)
Child seat
Navigation system
Accessories are bookable without obligation and subject to availability.

Additional Driver
An Additional Driver Surcharge of EUR 4.50 per day applies.

Refueling Charge
Full to full. All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and this is charged at the start of the rental. Car should be refilled prior to return for a refund of prepaid amount. No partial refunds are made.

VAT

19%
All rates are inclusive of VAT (if VAT incurs).
